Franciss Zamora earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from San Martin de Porres University in 1998. She later obtained her California dental license at the prestigious Loma Linda University, where she is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Restorative Department.  Dr. Zamora also has a private practice in the city of Torrance where she specializes in all aspects of general dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Harbor Dental Society, California Dental Association, Peruvian American Dental Association and International Association of Orthodontics. She resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, with her husband and two beautiful children. On family vacations they love to visit Peru to see their family and friends.

Wilmer Yabar, D.D.S.,a native of Peru, received his dental degree from San Marcos University School of Dentistry in Lima Peru in 1992. He moved to the Florida in 1993 and in 1995 made California his permanent residence. Dr. Yabar obtained his California Dental License in general dentistry in August 1996. He and his wife, Dr. Flores, are proud owners of dental offices in Corona, Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Lake Forest. As a witness to the needs of the Latino community, he co-founded Happy Smiles Mobile Dental Clinic, a nonprofit organization, in August 2003. He is now an active member of the Peruvian American Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Aside from his involvement in the dental field, Dr. Yabar has deep rooted interest and respect for wine-making, which he gained in the beautiful wine fields of Argentina. He is the proud owner of Masía de Yabar Winery in Temecula. Dr. Yabar resides in Riverside, California with his beautiful wife and three lovely daughters.

Estudio Economia en la Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina, Lo que le sirvio para desarrollarse en California despues de convalidar algunos cursos y ejercer en las cllinicas dentales de su esposo como Contadora. Tiene dos hijas y se siente muy realizada como esposa, madre mujer y profesionalmente. Participa activamente en PADA como asistente de tesoreria, Donde desarrolla sus habilidades dando su espiritu filantropico a la institucion.

Mrs. Silvia Trigoso, an accomplished wife, mother and professional, was born and raised in the Amazon region of Peru. She studied economics at the Agrarian National University (UNALM), which facilitated her coursework in the United States. She is now the accountant of her husband’s, Dr. Oscar Trigoso’s, two dental clinics and also helps administrate PADA as Assistant Treasurer. By participating in PADA, she believes that her skills and knowledge are further developed. Mrs. Trigoso currently lives in Long Beach, California with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters. She loves to travel, especially in Peru which has very diverse cultures and customs.

Raúl Sobero, Dr.PH, MPH, works as a Contract Administrator at the Orange County, CA Health Care Agency in the area of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services.  He has over 25 years of public health experience in the United States; having managed programs in STD control, HIV prevention, chronic disease prevention, cancer early detection, injury prevention, family health and emergency preparedness.  He holds doctorate and master’s degrees in public health from University of California, Los Angeles; with a concentration on health services management and policy.  He has been a California Endowment and a W.K. Kellogg Foundation fellow, and a Health Resources and Services Administration trainee.  Dr. Sobero has published peer-reviewed articles on breast cancer early detection among low-income Latinas and on tuberculosis control in the Americas.  His doctoral dissertation focused on an evaluation of breast health patient navigation and breast cancer diagnostic services for low-income women in Orange County, CA.  He has also served on other non-profit boards, usually in the area of grants coordination.  He is a native of Perú, loves Peruvian culture, and currently serves as Chair of PADA’s Dental Health USA Initiative.

Cristina Amalia Rodriguez Crespo, D.D.S. was born in Lima, Peru and studied at the Immaculate Conception; a school ran by Franciscan nuns. She later received her degree as a doctor of dental surgery at the National University of Mayor de San Marcos, which was followed by an internship at Rimac Hospital of Cayetano Heredia University. Dr. Rodriguez worked alongside Dr. Mariano Flowers Rubio, a masterful dentist and advisor, in his private practice and as an assistant to the chair of human and dental anatomy at the Federico Villarreal National University. She has also been a member of the Peruvian Society for Prosthetics, Latin American Dental Federation, and the Academy of Gnathology. Currently, Dr. Rodriguez lives and practices in Los Angeles, California, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, the Inca Foundation, the Peruvian Cultural Institutions Association and AIPEUC. She has 3 exquisite children and loves Peru for its rich history, biodiversity, and diverse gastronomy.

 Luis Gutierrez, D.D.S. was born and raised in Peru. He earned is dental degree at the National University of Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru and practiced dentistry in his native country for a few years. In 2007, Dr. Gutierrez moved to the United States to pursue advanced training in dentistry. Since then he has been involved in different oral health care community programs that help the Hispanic population in California.  Dr. Gutierrez enjoys working on access-to-care initiatives and is involved in projects with the Peruvian American Dental Association (PADA), the University of California of San Francisco (UCSF) and the Hispanic Student Dental Association (HSDA). He is currently earning his second dental degree at the University of California of San Francisco. Dr. Gutierrez considers Peru a beautiful country with many health care needs in which PADA can make a difference.
